How do I prepare?

  1. Consider closely which piercing/tattoo you would like to have. Not all piercings are appropriate for everyone.

  2. Visit the studio first, so you can meet your piercer/tattooist in person and form yourself an idea of how this guy works. This decreases the excitement a little on the day of the placement.

  3. Talk to your piercer/tattooist about the healing process and the aftercare. Ask him which products you should have in advance.

  4. Bring a friend, if you want to.

  5. You can take along your favourite CD to listen to while the piercing/tattoo is being placed.

  6. Some people start taking Echinacea (a herbal preparation to enhance the immune-system) a week in advance.

  7. Come to the studio in comfortable, loose clothing.

  8. Make sure you get a good night rest the night before the placement.

  9. Take a healthy, balanced meal 1 to 2 hours before your appointment.

  10. NO drugs or alcohol before your appointment.

  11. If you're under 16 and you wish to have a piercing, you HAVE to bring one of your parents or your legal guardian. The IDs must be shown voluntarily. No ID...No piercing...No exceptions...No kidding!

  12. If you are under 16 and wish to have a tattoo, you HAVE to bring one of your parents or your legal guardian. The IDs must be shown voluntarily. No ID...No tattoo...No exceptions...No kidding!
